I got to my car, and it still wasnt light yet, oh how we love this time of year.
see told you it was still dark -flash this time
First job was the wheels. Sprayed with de-greaser and rinsed, as were arches, shuts and jams. I then cleaned the alloys, and moved on to the bodywork:
Once all clean, clayed with SV paint rubber and dried I moved the car inside and checked Paint Depth Readings and applied the 3m 3434 masking tape.
A quick look round at the paintwork:
and decision made to test in on the boot panel:
I continued on the flat surfaces, moving to the roof and then the bonnet. You will notice the deeper RDS's are not being taken out. The decision was made to not remove that much clear coat, as the owners cat will continue to use the cat as an evening bed.
into the side panels, the upper shoulder has been machined here:
and some shots as I worked down the nearside:
and a reverse on the opposite wing:
After the machining I then applied Swissvax Cleaner Fluid Pro. This was also applied to door shuts and the alloys.
The customer had chosen to have Swissvax Saphir wax. So this was applied to the paintwork and door shuts. Swissvax Autobahm was applied to the alloys, and metal polish to the exhaust. All exterior trim, arches and tyres were dressed with Swissvax Pneu.
Inside, leather was cleaned with Swissvax Leather Cleaner, and then The Leather Milk applied. All hard surfaces cleaned, and the drivers mat was done with the extractor. I cleaned all glass with Swissvax Crystal and then applied the Seal Feed to the rubber door seals.
Am so glad I was inside, not the nicest of days outdoors. Needless to say, indoor after pics only:
