BMW Concept Active Tourer










The concept showcased at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show is a hybrid, utilising the carmaker’s all-new 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbo petrol engine to power the front wheels. An electric motor mounted above the rear axle powers the back wheels, offering electric-only rear-wheel-drive and a full power output of 188bhp and four-wheel-drive.

BMW is claiming a 0-62mph time of less than eight seconds, combined fuel economy of 113mpg and emissions as low as 60g/km CO2.
