تويوتا ستنتج نسخه كوبيه و من الممكن نسخه اخرى ستيشن من ال بريوس
new rumor comes from Motor Trend.
And I would love it to be true.
The new 2010 Prius is supposed to get a larger 1.8 Liter engine. Perfect for a little sportier ride.
A Prius coupe would be great as a 21st Century Celica.
As far as the design is concerned. This illustration shows a straight 2 door, sportier version of the upcoming 2010 5 door model.
But Toyota has been known to surprise...
Remember how many though the 1st Lexus coupe was going to look like a 2 door version of the 1st Generation LS sedan???
Toyota fooled everyone with the 1st generation SC.
It was a great looking car that didn't look at all like the sedan.
According to Motor Trend, Toyota is currently developing a 2+2 coupe version of the Prius, which would do battle with Honda’s upcoming CRZ hybrid. The Prius two-door would take on a much sleeker look than its sedan sibling, featuring a sloping roofline, lower ride height and generally more sporting proportions.

Rumors that Toyota will market its Subaru co-developed rear-wheel-drive coupe as a Scion in America have been swirling around the net ever since the two Japanese automakers made their plans official this spring. But now we've received word that it's true. According to our inside source, Toyota officials in the U.S. confirmed that the affordable RWD coupe will indeed arrive in the States in late-2010 / early-2011 as the new Scion TC. Further details weren't provided but from what we know up until now, both the Toyota / Scion and Subaru variants of the two-seater compact coupe will get an all-new platform with power coming from a new 2.0-liter four-cylinder boxer engine pumping out around 200HP.
Toyota officials also told our source that the iQ minicar will be heading to the States as the latest addition to the Scion line-up. Even though it is apparent that the iQ and the RWD TC will target a different segment of the young or young-at-heart audience, the company's officials are certain that both vehicles will do their part to spice-up the Scion brand's youthful / hip image.

Tata's Nano famously promised to bring the opportunity of four-wheeled transport to the world's emerging markets - places such as India, Brazil and the African continent. Now Toyota is reported to be working on a similar car, though its initial price target is roughly double the Nano's originally intended price.
The news of Toyota's entry into the super-budget market comes from the Japanese Asahi newspaper, reports Automotive News Europe. To be co-developed with Daihatsu and built in Bangalore, India, the car won't make it to market until 2015. Toyota already has one plant in Bangalore, and is building another set to open in 2010.
Tata's car has faced setbacks, however, with the factory having to be relocated for political reasons and the rising costs of materials driving up the car's price. Toyota isn't likely to face exactly the same issues, though fluctuating commodities pricing on essential items like steel and plastic can quickly eat away at the tiny margins found in super-budget microcars.
Renault-Nissan is also among the contenders for the ultra-cheap tiny car market thanks to a cooperative agreement with Bajaj Auto. The Renault-Nissan car will more squarely target the Tata Nano, however, aiming for the same $2,500 price point. The companies hope to have the car to market by 2011.
The Toyota iQ, the company's latest submission to the microcar market, is targeted at more premium audiences in Europe and possible the U.S., with a UK price tag of £9,495 (approximately $16,140) for the entry-level version. Actual U.S. pricing, if the car does come under the Scion brand, will likely be below the $12,000 mark set by the entry-level Yaris.
