Here we share some of the exposed exterior and interior picture of Saga Baru 1.3 VVT. The front grille and headlamp looks like VW design language but the lower part of the new saga bumper follows the bigger brother, Proton Persona Baru 2nd generation.

Above is the rendered design of modified saga VVT with awesome tail diffuser and negative camber rear wheel. The rear part of this new Proton Saga 2016 is really beautiful and it looks like an Audi with the sharp horizontal tail lamp. This is the selling point of Saga Baru compared to other competitor in the compact segment such as Perodua Bezza.

Side profile looks perfect for its size and match the wheels size nicely. The 14 inch sport rims looks unique. Roof height is lowered and nicely contoured to the back bonnet like a coupe and this will minimise the narrow looks from rear thus increasing aerodynamic.

The front body profile still looks thin but sharper unlike Persona design. But we prefer it to be bulgy to give a bigger looks on this entry level sedan Saga Baru VVT 2016.

The interior is quite nice with reshaped air vent from circler to square vent which gives a proper looks from the inside but the steering of New Saga VVT looks too big for the dashboard. It is taken from Exora steering design and size.

It is now open for booking. Proton offers 5 years warranty for Proton Saga Baru 1.3 VVT. Some of the highlighted features are new VVT engine which is the same as Iriz 1.3, new comfortable cabin with lower NVH, reverse camera, foldable rear seat, eco assist light, 4 star Asean Ancap safety rating, 420 liter of boot space and all the standard safety features are available.

Good job Proton! Hopefully this one will be a success story for our national car maker.
