i called your local dealer in egypt to purchase a new cerato - 2009, i went to order a white, 1.6 highline car . The answer was that they don't import white at the time , and the delivery estimated time for the highline category will be after at least 3 months ..as this doesn't suit my needs, i've already called for the car from your dealer at an arabian gulf country - saudi arabia- and it should be arriving within days ... The problem is the customer service personnel appearing at automach motor show in cairo told me that my car will not be accepted for any repairs or even regular maintenance at kia workshops ...i was surprised as he began to tell me "stories" about "different engines parts" supplied for the egyptian market for special fuel types and some ps like this.
i do like the car and the new trend in your promising model ..but if this is your policy please inform me, to change my plan and go for a mazda or lancer, not because they are better but i can find somewhere to fix them at .
i don't believe that this is the policy of a car maker as kia , i am a senior member and moderator in the biggest egyptian auto forum and that info is really a concern for more than 7 other clients already owning your car . I know that large corporations are keen to serve their clients and their products ....
please , do not only transfer this to the local agency ...i want kia motors reply (the mother company)
i want to know if my car can at least make regular services and repairs at the local dealer workshops or not and also about the guarantee, is it valid in egypt or not.
is there any engine difference between cars sold in egypt / saudi arabia (i mean the gamma 1.6 motor) and if there is ..please explain it
thank you for your concern and sorry for the long letter .
