yea the same engine..only a diffrent map and a bigger turbo but the same connecting rods with the same pistons and the same headers you find in the 120 version..
maybe a sport header wont make that change but it will add and for the camshafts am sure they havent..and u can buy them sports camshafts and u can surf the internet and u will see sports camshafts that gives u from 5 to 30 hp more than the originals
and i only said the free flow exhaust to tell u that they are restricted with the eco thing
for the turbo size part they build the same engine and fit diffrent turbos to supply diffrent versions with the same engine internals and same injectors..so they know that this engine can afford the boost to
make it 190 hp without any risk ..(considering they won't sell a car with an overboost damging it)
also you can't say that they will sell it with 115000 and more 30BHP .. that way u wont buy the abarth version..again you get for what you pay..also putting in consideration that VW produces same cars with 1.4 TSI engine with different maps ..some have 140 and other have 160 ... and considering the turbo damge u can google the IHI(manufacturer of fiat turbines and email them asking how much boost can the t-jet 120 turbo generate saftely and they will tell you that it can boost till 1.5bar and the bonalume makes it 1.25 so it is safe... and i see from your speech that you don't know what is bonalume and what they serve..please visit thier websit Valvola Waste Gate Pop Off Fuel pression control Regulator pressure turbocharge - Bonalume.com and take a look...
visit the test bench and choose theh grande punto t-jet 120 and you will find the dyno run graph for a car running with the kit..also you can say that the only risk in this kit is the original fuel regulator being damaged so they supply you with a bigger one with= the kit..also surf the internet for tuning boxes like tmc..the only diff between tmc and bonalume is that tmc kit is a less quality less tested one so they sell it with a lower price with no fuel regulator and allow me to tell you that people in italy and in fiat forum do 3 things after buying a t-jet car 1-fitting an induction kit 2-doing a remap or installing a tuning box if the person cares for warranty 3-doing a RR to know the power graph of their car ... all these are what what we call PRO'S do for their cars for a beginig of tuning or for a simple gain of power without having to twist your engine..thx again.
