-Drive Gently and Avoid harsh acceleration and heavy breaking. Pulling away too fast uses up to 60% more fuel

-check tyre pressure and over in-flat the tyres if possible

-change gears as early as possible

-Start Up & Drive off slowly immediatley (or after a very short while) when starting from cold. Idling to heat the engine wastes fuel and causes rapid engine wear

- When stuck in a jam Turning off the engine after two minutes will save fuel and cut all emissions

-Close the windows and donot turn the AC ON

-Remove any unnecessary weight from the car

remove front and rear spoilers
use thinner tyres and smaller rims

Clean up the underside of the car
Remove the side view mirrors instead use a bigger inside mirror
Replace large whip antennas with smaller powered antennas
install side skirts to reduce tyres drag
use convex and smooth wheel covers

-Increase engine efficiency by
checking and clean or replace the air filter more frequently
check and replace spark plugs when necessary
replace mufflers with a straight through type
install a cold air intake and a high flow air filter
replace belt driven radiator fans with electric fans
use thinner motor oil if poissible
install a smaller battery if possible and donot use electrical accessories
