أنا كنت قلت اني هجرب فوكس ٢٠٠٨ و الحمدلله حصل بس صاحبي كان بيلين الأول أبل مرحلة النفخ:

so what did happened is that i tok the car for an hour in diffrent locations in nasr city and in the ring road from nasr city to maadi and back. the car was a basic automatic, with no cruise control and stuff, first i couldn't feel the car good (i go with a hyundai) i thought that the pedals were sponge first. but 2ew3a weshak. with the first really fast turn it handels marvelous, amaizingly it just go exactly where you point seems like the blade suspension technology is working (had garrab yetla3 men el tagamo3 fe etegahda2ery el ma3ady fel nafa2 3ala 80 we fel malaf yerfarmel) it was not part of the test it was for real, the car is also very quite (very noticable) it just runs quite at speeds up to 130 then the engine starts to speack loud (grrr) also the engine sounds are not agressive or vibrant.
testing the acceleration (scince this is one important thing to me i do a test in the same place and run from a mark to a mark and see top speed reached in that distance) so by fixing every thing (including no of passengers) results were as follows.

verna 1.6 mt 150 km/hr
elantra 1.6 auto 130 km/hr
new accent 1.6 mt 140 km /hr
Megane sedan auto 125 km/hr
Jetta 1.6 auto 125 km/hr
Focus 1.6 auto 120 km /hr

so as we see it was not the best among cars i have tested But it's not that slow really (not a lancer 1.3 auto ya3ny).
steptronic is not stupid like the one in the mazda3, the throttle is responsive (drive by wire engine) wit no lag like the civic (of course civic is faster, i only said response).

the car is quite like a megane, steeing feels great really great. car is peacefull.

brakes are very very good (intelligent ABS).


so as a bottom line:

quite,fast, good handling (wet/dry)good brakes, fair acceleration, gear ratios are wide)

so among all the ars i have driven till now it was really good (but i still prefers a jetta)
now the new shape is available starting August 2008 (2009 model) and they claim that they got 17 more hp with the same duratech engine reaching 119 (i doupt), they have two ghias 145 and 150 LE with the sunroof as a diffrence, and a higher model with leather and parking sensors and digital A/C costing 160.

Thanks alot for that great review,when i read it i felt like i read a review in whatcar it was really professional now my questions is when you test the accelaration was using striptronic or just using the standersd auto gear box?
by the way there is a trend model in the new shape costs 135 LE it is more expensive 5000 le than the old shape
from my point of view yes i think that the jetta is better but i doubt its reliability because of the Brazilian assembled also eltwkeel zeft! also se3raha mobala3' feeeh awi(taba3an el tawkeel 3aiez yeksab kteeer),

thnx ya basha, the test i do wit any auto car is simply a kickdown from the zero and i let her handle except for one thing, i release my foot fro mthe accelerator just a little bit to give her a chance to move one gear up the to the floor again, regarding the trend model the guy didn't tell me any thing about it , thnx for the info.
the jetta i drove was a full option gulf specs from gaber abdelshaheed and the service is every 15000 km in amir we gozef in nasr city, so no worries about el tawkell ebnel******* el me3**** we kha***** la2anohom beshehadet el nas kollaha mowa2a3een agmal 3arabeyat fel2ard.

we service el jetta 15 (oil and filter) we 30(oil and filter) we 45(oil and filter and AC filter) we 60 (oil and filter and somthing 3abeet keda zay brakes oil) 75 (oil and filter) we 90 (oil and filter and air filter)
so practically if every thing goos good the first real service is @ 105 masalan
fahatkoon a3adt 3-4 years in peace, then to the hell of the service.
