ودي التحذيرات الامنيه اللي اتبعتت :
Due to ongoing demonstrations and unrest in Egypt, ABB is banning travel to Egypt with immediate effect and until further notice.
Travelers currently in Egypt should follow the advice below and be prepared to leave the country if the situation deteriorates.
Travelers in Egypt whose trip is not-business critical should leave the country as soon as possible if it is safe to do so.
Avoid mosques at the end of Friday prayers (13.30h-15.00h), when activists sometimes try to whip up anti-government or anti-foreigner sentiment.
There is a possibility of both small and large-scale terrorist attacks by Islamist extremists. Minimize the amount of time spent in the vicinity of likely targets, which may include government and military buildings, Western embassies and commercial assets, tourist sites and venues popular with Western personnel. Ensure that hotels have adequate access controls and perimeter security, and report any suspicious behavior or suspect packages to the authorities.
It is likely that internet, cell phones and possible fixed phone lines will be shut down temporarily or for longer periods ABB travelers in Egypt must:
Have daily contact with home office
Keep passport, ticket and sufficient cash with them at all times
Store water and food
Follow local news
Avoid movements after dark
Respect any governmental advice or rules
Be aware that military regulations oblige foreign travelers to obtain a permit for travel beyond major roads in desert areas.
Taxis are a suitable means of travel in urban areas. Do not use shared minibuses or station-wagons, trams, buses and trolley-buses; they are unsuitable for
business visitors. Avoid all rail routes other than those between northern cities.
Self-driving is inadvisable. Road standards are poor and driving conditions are chaotic; the road accident rate is high. Where self-driving is unavoidable, female
drivers should wear a headscarf to avoid attracting unwanted attention. Dress modestly in loose-fitting clothing covering the arms and legs, and respect Muslim
and Arab cultural sensitivities.
Mines pose a risk in some desert areas, particularly along the Libyan border and in the Sinai. Do not leave sealed roads and pavements (sidewalks) and be
vigilant for tape, signs or symbols indicating areas of danger.
