COPIED

The BX Platform cars were started in Brazil in 1980. The had the Voyage (Sedan & Coupe), Parati (Wagon), Gol (Hatchback), and the Saveiro (Pickup Truck)

1980 VW Gol. (MK I)

Even stranger under the hood. Spare tire mounted up front and that is an Air-cooled 1300 beetle motor. Came Stock on very early models.

1982 Voyage

1983 Gol

1983 Parati

1982 Saveiro

Technically the MK I generation lasted until 1995(ish). The Voyage, Parati & Gol till 1995 and the Saveiro till 1997. (I've been seeing some conflicting info)

They did get a face lift in 1987 and again in 1991. These models look just like ours of the same years.

Facelift 1 (1988 Voyage)

Facelift 1 (1988 Gol GTi)

Facelift 2 (1994 Gol doing the "peeing stand")

Facelift 2 (1997 Saveiro)

The MK II Generation Started in 1995 and looked kinda like our MKIII Jetta/Golf. Cars of this generation had a 1.0L 16v option, a 1.0L 8v, and a factory turbo option! There is no Brazillian MK II Voyage. Production on the second gen ended in 2002(ish)

MK II Saveiro (1998)

MK II Parati (1996)

MK II Gol 1.0L 16v (2001)

The MK III Generation started in 2003 and continues on so far. The Gol, Parati, and Saveiro are all still made. There are 3 option/trim levels.

MK III Parati 'Plus' (2006)

MK III Gol (2005)

MK III Saveiro 'Crossover' (2005)
