و اليوم نحن مع سيينا 2010

The second generation Toyota Sienna has been on the market since 2004 and it benefitted from a mild facelift in 2006. These shots caught by our photographer confirm that the automaker is working on the third generation possibly due for release next year as a 2010 model.

The new Sienna will use a mildly modified version of its existing platform that it shares with the Toyota Camry, the overall size of the model will grow slightly allowing a little extra space for passengers and cargo. No details about the engine lineup can be confirmed but it is believed the 266-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 from the current model will continue to be used with a strong possiblility of a hybrid being offered in 2012 or 2013.

Upon release the Toyota Sienna will go head to head with the likes of the Honda Odyssey and the Chrysler Town & Country. It is also expected that the model will be exported to emerging markets such as China as well.
