Just to let you know that the Captiva is assembled in Egypt...

thats why its price is only 298,000

right now or before if you wanted to buy it ...you would let Mansour special order it for you and it would cost you 389,000 LE

but now it is assembled in 6th October factory of GM Egypt

to be honest...the price isnt bad at all...now it will compete against the Cherooke and Xtrail Hyundai Santa Fe, etc....

remember that the Frontiera was also assembled in Egypt and it didnt have any problems

and the same goes for the dababah and Jumbo

and same goes for the Astra 1200 and the Vectra B back when they were assembled in Egypt

just because the Aveo and the Lanos have problems doesnt mean that all the others are bad.....

ya man people wont forget...and honestly people here in Egypt dont care....

go to the nearest showroom and check out how many people still buy the Aveo (even though the problem has been fixed) but people still buy it

people still buy chinese cars (even though 90% of the Egyptians) know that chinese cars are crap!

the 90% is my assumption because there are a lot of people in Egypt who dont like chinese products let alone their cars!

besides...he wants to compete in the SUV market....

and soon enough when the gomrok goes down...we might see the Yukon and the Tahoe and the Avalanche and Escalade all sold in Egypt...not to mention the Acadia, Traverse and so on....

not everyone likes the cherooke....thats why you see people buy other cars in the same price range
