do basic settings

hello, can anyone tell me how to do basic settings to a vw car, and what is the needed equipments?
i heard that battery disconnect will do it, is that ok

i have the cable from america and i have that programmes
- proscan
-pcmscan
- digimoto
- obd2scan
and they all can't find that option aslan

ياريت حضرتك تستخدم الجزئيه الخاصه بتحديد الجزء المراد الدخول عليه
بعد كده هتختار engin ثم basic seting

vcds didn't recognize my cable, it's seems it has to be roth tech

i don't know if there another program than ross_tech or not
but i know that the only one uesing by vw ross_tech program

after the water getting heated the lamp is off
