    اولا السعر
    الاتنين ب 95000 بس فى فئة اعلى فى اللينا ب103000 و ده بيزيد عليها جنوط 16 و فوجات وتقريبا حساسات ركن و نظام blue&me
    وفى فئة اعلى ب113000 و ده فيها نفس اول فئة بس زبادة تربو تشارجر على الموتور بيوصلوا لغاية 120 حصان

    بس انا لاحظت ان كل واحد داخل يقول رأيه في اللينيا , هو مافيش اى حد جابها او جربها و يقول لنا عن الثبات و استهلاك البنزين و قطع الغيار و توافرها

    The Gentle Beauty (Linea Petrol – Emotion without option pack)
    So I was at the Fortune Cars dealership checking out the linea from the outside, I was here for the test drive, but I just wanted to get a feel of what the car is like from the outside so I spent sometime walking around it, looking at it from far and near... I was finally ....... with the craving that I have had for checking this car out, ever since its launch I have caught only glimpses of a couple on the road, which left me thirsting for more.

    From the outside: I dont know how to explain it, but the linea's face is like a cute baby with big eyes... there is nothing about its appearance that says aggression, its all very soft and subtle.

    The car also feels smaller in real life than what you would expect after looking at the posters, it is though a good length and occupies a wide field of view when looked at from the side... Moving forward, the build quality is what you would expect, its good, nothing about it feels cheap, the rubber linings, the panels, fittings, tail-lights, head-lights, fog lights all fit nicely into their slots, also unlike many other cars that come fitted with lame looking mags, the Linea’s mag wheels really suit the car and add a lot of richness to its overall visual appeal, you would not find the need to replace those wheels.

    The styling although contemporary, does reveal a design bloodline of one of those sports cars (especially that baring teeth front grill) designed by the Giugiaro Design House for other european car makers, I loved it as much as I did even before it was launched! so from the outside it’s all good and full marks to design!

    On the inside: From the pictures that I had seen, there was one thing that I was not too happy about… the center console. I could not understand why they had it all in silver…But that instantly vanished when I saw it in person, I mean my preference for a more conventionally designed center console went out the window, when I saw the linea’s console, the color was actually a tinted shade of silver, something more like a champagne gold, but very subtle, subtle enough to not tell the difference from silver if you didn’t look closely… So as you can see, my attention was naturally drawn to the center console first… The 2 DIN system, AC controls, radio controls and every bit of switch/button is in perfect harmony with each other and it all looks very very neat! When you turn on the lights the all orange color of the lights look simply stunning… So the center console was a “pass” for me. As a matter of fact now I have come to realize that it is one of the best looking center consoles I have ever seen.

    Coming to the steering wheel, I like how the mould on the steering wheel gives you the added grip required for straight-line control… The steering wheel cover is also soft to touch and has a good feel and grip.

    Looking beyond the steering wheel, I noticed how the instrument cluster felt a little too compact… They could have used more space to layout out the dials and the glowing icons, which currently look all over the place… I was not impressed with the instrument cluster at all… not to mention the font used for the numeric markings were the types that you would find on vintage cars, this is of-course a deliberate attempt to give it that classic euro-sports car feel, but I didn’t like it one bit, to make things worse, its all on a white dial… (Before reading ahead you should know that this the only thing that put me off about this car) I would prefer a more contemporary approach here, because there is nothing else about the car that says vintage. Also another thing I wanted to mention is the DIS which sits between the dials, it simply didn’t make enough impact for me to give it a good look, but that’s fine, I later asked the sales guy and he told me it displays outside temperature and phonebook entries if you chose the blue & me as an option pack, a device that lets you make phone calls using the car’s audio system.

    Looking around some more I found the switches and buttons for the headlight swivel and ORVM controls and also other switches/buttons on the doors to be of really good quality and well fitted (unlike the pathetic fitments on the sx4)… I noticed however that the cigar-lighter is not slotted in the center console, but right next to the hand brake, which could be a little bother for me as a prospective owner, because I have a daughter whose curiosity levels are extremely high for her age of 1.5 years. But again it’s not such a big worry but I just thought I’d mention it.

    In this version without option pack, the car has two glove boxex, one on top and one below, because the slot above would have otherwise been used for the airbag fitment.

    The test drive: Before turning on the ignition, I noticed how the key was like a switch blade knife… you can press a button and fold it and then press it again and it swings open again… After turning the ignition on, I could not feel the engine running at all, there was no sound and not even the slightest vibration… the only clue was the tacho needle reading above the 0 mark… even the sales guy asked me to turn the ignition when I engaged in reverse, because he too didn’t realize that I had already started the engine J.

    So I drove out of the gate which was up a slope and off we went (My wife, my daughter, my brother-in-law and the sales guy)…The car was fairly loaded… I immediately realized how smooth the car actually was, the Steering had enough weight to not make it feel too light, the gear shift was buttery smooth and precise, slotted perfectly each time I made a shift and the short travel made for quick changes! I loved it!

    Moving on, I drove for the first few minutes with the AC on (which was fine and sufficient for the cabin space), then I turned it off to get a raw feel of the engines power… what I found out it that this engine is not zippy but it can get you there fast for sure… The pick up is very gentle, I would not agree with others who say that the car is underpowered, it has enough meat to pull load and speed up to the 100 mark fast enough, its just that it feels like the car seems to pick up speed at a little less than in a hurry… I found absolutely nothing wrong with that, it especially suits my driving style.

    So I weaved in an out of traffic on the road and car handled well, potholes and dents in the tarmac were also well received, the suspension is about as good as it gets in this range of cars so I will not write about it. The car behaved well and the body mass was well in control at all times, the tires felt just right to handle the body mass and offered good grip on braking.

    One thing though I would like to stress on is the ABS w/ EBD braking system! AMAZING!! TURLY AMMMMMAZING!! The brakes on this car simply blew me away, I have never driven a car with such good braking power as of yet! (even with ABS/EBD)

    However when it came to the clutch foot rest, I found myself fumbling with it, because switching between the two requires some “getting used to”. As for the other driving comfort aspects, everything else was good, the seat provided good support and driving position for a guy 5.11 in height… Another thing worth a mention is that the turn indicator stick and wiper stick controls have switched sides and not like the usual setup, so that could take some getting used to too.

    On my way back to the showroom, I wanted to play some, so after I took a u-turn, I stepped on the gas and let her rip, the wheels screeched and the engine revved and let our a roar that was oh such sweet music to my ears!! That sound put a big smile on my face, because these are sounds you typically hear from a rally car! Within seconds we were doing 90kmps… and that right there was enough to satisfy me completely and for me to know now that this is the car that will make it to the top of my list when I’m shopping again!

    When we got back and parked the car, I started to look at the insides for one last time, I just looked and looked again to see if there was anything that would put me off… and not surprisingly there was nothing really that could satisfy the critic in me, the car is so well put together… the plastics and rubber are all fine and decent in quality.

    At the end I asked my wife about the ride comfort at the back, she said it was great, and that was enough info for me. I didn’t bother checking out the back seats, because I will never occupy them ever.

    The luxury features: Just to mention some of the luxury features, the car comes with a retractable sunscreen at the back, arm rests with cup holders and and AC vent for the back benchers… The DIS on the fully loaded version with option pack enables you to view phonebook entries and make calls using the Blue & Me technology that enables you to make phone calls using the cars audio system. The option pack also gives you driver and co-driver airbags as a safety fitment and steering audio controls. The sound system provided is great and you will not find the need for an upgrade.

    Conclusion: All in all, I was completely convinced with the Linea and It has made it to the top of my shopping list… The ride quality is great, drives and handles well and its looks are absolutely stunning… All the equipment provided and the quality of materials are fine! So for me the linea did it, It has all that I was looking for in my next upgrade, It made me smile and it convinced me that it would be a buy well worth my money. I did not even bother asking about mileage figures for this car, because judging the way they have tuned the engine, I would think anything between 9 – 13 would be a fair figure and that would work for me… and to add to that, I am least interested in mileage figures anyway.

    I would advise anyone looking to buy a car NOT to go by torque and PS figures and all the technical mumbo jumbo, get out there and take a test-drive to be convinced for yourself… I say this because I had also test driven an SX4 a couple of weeks back and I was expecting it to be a super performer considering the 102 BHP engine that it boasts of… But I was pretty disappointed, so for me now all these technicalities do not matter. People say the linea is not as powerful as it should have been, but I found this car a sheer pleasure to drive and not very different in power in comparison with the SX4.
    I honestly feel the automobile industry should talk in terms of power to weight ratio figures to determine the actual power of a particular vehicle… and not juat the BHP/Torque figures.

    So to end it all, I sincerely hope this review is of help to anyone looking for information on the new Fiat Linea, if you have any questions about this review post them in this blog.

    Hey every1 I am from Bhubaneswar, Orissa.
    I got the 1st LINEA over here. I fell in love with the car when I saw it for the 1st time in the showroom, it looks classes higher. The space inside is also good. It is loaded with features like Climate Control A/C, integrated Stereo with Controls on Steering Wheel and USB Dock , Multifunction Display, lnstantious Milage Info, ABS, EBD, ALLOYS, Blue ’n’ Me Software, Rake Adjustable Steering Wheel etc.
    When l test drove the car l was forced to buy this car by my soul. The body control and ride quality is fantastic; the pick up is quite good also. The driving position is relaxing. What else could l expect from a car what comes under Rs. 900,000/- on road. True Value per Money!!!

    I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS CAR AND I WOULD SUGGEST THAT IF U LOVES DRIVING AND COMFORT AND DONT WANT TO SPEND A LOT OF MONEY THEN THIS IS THE CAR U SHOULD GO FOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ودي مقارنه مفيده قوي والتلات عربيات موجودين في مصر و في نفس رينج السعر واعتقد نفس مشكله تلكفه الصيانه اللي اتكلم عليها صاحب المقارنه

    Have recently purchased my most awaited big car ... Linea 1.4 Emotion perla champaign.

    To be honest been born and bought in mumbai and living in this city for over 27 year , never did i think that I shall buy a car made Fiat ... Fiat for me was always the black and yellow taxi and their horrible service reputation ...

    Then arrived this beauty Linea !!! I always belive that ppl deliver the best when the expectations are low and I think Fiat just did the same ... No one expected Fiat to comeout with a car that will take the market by surprise ... And this one really did !!

    Well I got this car on Gudi Padwa this month here is the experience I had so far -
    Ill start right from the time when i thought ill upgrade from a santro to a big car-
    I had choices between the following -

    SX4
    CITY
    Linea
    Fiesta
    Aveo
    and Verna

    Test driving all these cars I finally pinned down on SX4,N-City and the Linea.
    between these 3 cars I then looked at the following
    Price
    Mileage
    Performance
    Features
    and service

    City no doubt was very good but was way too over priced for its brand name compared to the other 2 cars. Also spares in case of Honda are quiet expensive, an example - the tail light for NHC is more than twice the cost of an SX4.
    For such high cost the N Honda City had some basic functions missing .. eg no alloys even on the top end ,No waist line molding on the door or the bumpers , no cd player, no protection for the engine at the base, you can see this once you open the bonnet.
    The biggest deciding factor was the 2 L price difference. In terms of engine power there not too much difference between Linea and CITY , City tough is a lill more powerful than the Linea... Interms of the interiors and the features offered Linea outperforms the City.
    In terms of driving comfort I would honestly say City is better than the Linea !!!!
    The big question is the price factor !!

    Then came in the SX4 - great car, looks masuline from the outside (truly Men are back kinda look) , good power and well packaged , Again Maruti is known for its good service reputation and lower cost of spares. And this car is no expection - the spares of SX4 are 10-15% cheaper than that of the Linea and approx half the cost of the NHC.

    However these are the problems you would find with and SX4 -
    High boot so reversing is a problem.
    Pillar A difficult to take turns as view is obstructed.
    Low Mileage (heard from friends who own SX4),
    Uncomfortable seating for 3 passengers on the back seat due to the arm rest.
    Again the interiors in the SX4 are not so great compared to the Linea.

    Finally I got my hands on the new Linea-

    I got this from Wasan motors in mumbai , the experience with the dealer was just about alright.
    I wouldnt say it was that great. I think Fiat/Tata can do a much better job around the customer service.

    I got this car for around 7.6 L on road, The features are great.
    KILLER LOOKS !!!!
    Auto climate control is very good, nice music system by Blaupunkt (with 4 speakers and 4 tweeters), well made interiors and exteriors. Great looking alloys .

    So far I have clocked about 800 kms with AC on all the time, the car has given me an avg of about 9 kms/lt but like most ppl say its pointless to track the mileage for the first couple of months or say the first 3k kms.
    The car has a host of features on the digital display Im yet to try most of them.
    However the Distance to empty and the fuel efficiency display is quiet good.

    The boot is quiet lavish with 500 lts.
    The seating is quiet good and comfortable
    The steering control and suspensions are quiet good.The steering is quiet receptive.
    The handlin is quiet impressive.
    The suspension handles bumps and pot holes quiet well

    The service intervals have a good gap , so I dont really have to care for the maintainence cost for the first 2 yrs.
    The warranty is for 4 yrs or 150k kms which is the best in its class.
    I like the dimming effect on the lights when you step in or step out of the car.

    Coming to a few flaws -

    The doors don't close at once, I find them a bit hard and I have to close them hard (which I hate to do on a new car) similar is the case with the dashboard inside.

    The car is a little underpowered, you can feel this when you have 5 ppl in the car and you drive on a mumbai roads. And the car in itself is quiet heavy as compared to its peers.

    The seating at the back is a bit uncomfortable as the roof actually tapers down , so for anyone who is 6 ft + cant sit on the back seat very comfortably.

    There is slight sluggish sound when you break on low speeds, not sure what it is need to get that checked in the first service.

    Spares as mentioned above are 10-15% more expensive than that of the SX4 , but are far cheaper than others in this segment.

    Last but not the least - Dealer satisfaction - When the car was delivered to me the car had already clocked 115 kms and the dealer told me it was because they had to bring the car from the Dock also the petrol in the car was just not there ... fortunately the petrol pump from the showroom was just about 1 Km away ... but this in a way reflected very poorly on the customer service aspect of the dealer !!!

    Apart from these tiny tits and bits its a fabulous car to own...

    There is one imp piece of advise for anyone who plans to buy a new car.

    Ask the dealer if you could go for insurance on your own and still avail cashless ins.

    Trust me you will save over 10k on this as you could get the same insurance from ICICI lombard or Reliance at a much cheaper cost ,The dealers have a big margin on the insurance ,If you negotiate Im sure you could save a few bucks !!!!!

    I shall be interested to know if anyone has a Linea petrol and what is the Milegae they get out of their Linea !!
