هانسخكلم حاجة خاصة بخنقة الفيرنات على سبيل المثال الغير مبررة و التوكيل ماعندوش بيها أي خبر ويفضل يدفعك في قطع غيار والمشكلة مابتتحلش
DE......ION:
- Some 2000-2002 Accents with 1.5L SOHC and 1.6L DOHC engines may experience the following symptoms in the summer (hot and humid weather):
- Slower than usual acceleration after an initial cold start (engine is cold soaked).
- Greater than usual rpm drop when engaging drive or reverse (on ATM equipped vehicles) after an initial cold start.
Some 2002 1.6L Accents may turn on the "Check Engine" light and store the diagnostic trouble code P0116 (Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Range/Performance Problem) in the ECM. This code can be falsely set under certain driving conditions.
Check the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor to make sure that it's functioning properly. When the engine is cold soaked, the ECT and Intake Air Temperature should read approximately the same temperature. When the engine is fully warmed-up, the ECT should read about 190° F to 200° F (depending on the cooling fan cycle).
If the code has been set falsely, perform the ECM software reprogramming procedure using the Hi-Scan Pro as outlined below.
The ECM program has been revised to improve BOTH
of the above described conditions.
The following procedure describes updating the ECM software, using the Hi-Scan Pro.
NOTE
This new reprogramming software (#31) supersedes the previous reprograms for "Cold Stumble" (#7 = TSB 01-36-013 and #13 =TSB 02-36-018).

CAUTIONS BEFORE REPROGRAMMING:
- Conduct reprogramming with the ignition key in the "ON" position.
Be careful not to disconnect any cables connected to the vehicle or Hi-Scan Pro during reprogramming.
WARNING
If reprogramming is interrupted, the manual update procedure must be used.
Do not start the engine during reprogramming.
Do not turn the ignition key off during reprogramming.
When the reprogramming is completed, turn off the ignition key for 20 seconds before starting the engine.
REPROGRAMMING PROCEDURE:
NOTE
Verify that the vehicle is affected by identifying the vehicle production date and VIN.
AUTOMATIC UPDATE PROCEDURE:
- Attach the DLC (Data Link Connector) cable to the Hi-Scan Pro main body and tighten the 2 bolts securely.
Remove the current system software card from the Hi-Scan Pro and insert the reprogramming software card (with the new ECM program) into the Hi-Scan Pro top slot.
Plug the DLC cable from the Hi-Scan Pro into the data link connector (16-pin connector) to the left of the steering wheel under the instrument panel.
Turn the ignition to the ON
position.
Turn the Hi-Scan Pro ON
and pressENTER
.
Select option "31. LC 00~02MYCOLD STUMBLEAnd02MY P0116"
and press ENTER
.
Select option "01. LC 00~02 MY COLD STUMBLE [AUTO]"
and press ENTER
. This option automatically detects the ECM type and downloads the correct program.
Enter "1229"
as the password for the automatic update mode and pressENTER
.
The Hi-Scan Pro will establish communication and check the ECM ID. The Hi-Scan Pro will reprogram the ECM automatically.
NOTE
- The Hi-Scan Pro detects the current ECM ID, assigns the new ECM ID and displays them for a short time.
- To be prepared in case a reprogramming error occurs, write down the "NEW ECM ID" displayed on the Hi-Scan Pro screen during reprogramming.
- It will be used during the Manual Update Procedure if the program does not download correctly.
- If the Hi-Scan Pro does not download the program, use the Manual Update Procedure following this section.
- Check the ECM IDs displayed on the Hi-Scan Pro screen to verify that the correct ECM software is being downloaded. Refer to the "ECM SPECIFICATION TABLE" on page 2 of this bulletin for the ECM ID listing.
WARNING
Do not interrupt the reprogramming at any time. The ECM will be rendered inoperative if the program does not download completely.
When the COMPLETED message is displayed, turn the Hi-Scan Pro OFF
and the process is complete.
NOTE
When reprogramming has been completed successfully, turn the ignition to the OFF position for 20 seconds and then start the engine to check for proper operation.
MANUAL UPDATE PROCEDURE:
NOTE
In the event menu option "01. LC 00-02MY COLD STUMBLE [AUTO]" fails to download the new ECM program, option "02. LC 00-02MY COLD STUMBLE [ERROR]" must be used.
- Turn the ignition to the ON
position.
Turn the Hi-Scan Pro ON
and press ENTER
.
Select menu option "31. LC 00~02MY COLD STUMBLEAnd02MY P0116"
and press ENTER
.
Select menu option "02. LC 00~02MY COLD STUMBLE [ERROR]"
for manual update and press ENTER
.
Choose the correct specification for your vehicle by identifying the VIN and engine and by referring to the "ECM SPECIFICATION TABLE" on page 2 of this bulletin to choose one of 6 choices. Then press ENTER
.
NOTE
If the vehicle is equipped with ECM 39110-22550, use option 01. for 39110-22551.
NOTE
If the vehicle is equipped with ECM 39110-22560, use option 02. for 39110-22561.
Select the correct password for Manual Update from the "ECM SPECIFICATION TABLE" on page 2 of this bulletin.
- Enter the correct password and press ENTER
.
WARNING
If an incorrect password is used, the correct ECM software will not be downloaded.
Wait until the reprogramming is completed. The Hi-Scan Pro will reprogram the ECM.
NOTE
Once the password is entered and accepted, therest of the procedure isexactly the same as theautomatic update procedure.
Compare the new ECM ID displayed on the Hi-Scan Pro screen with the one that's listed as the correct new ECM ID in the table on page 2 of this TSB, to make sure that the correct software has been installed.
When the COMPLETED message is displayed, turn the Hi-Scan Pro OFF
and the process is complete.
NOTE
When reprogramming has been completed successfully, turn the ignition to the OFF position for 20 seconds and then start the engine to check for proper operation.
EXPLANATION OF ERROR MESSAGE:
- "INVALID PASSWORD"
: Please enter the correct password again.
"REPROGRAMMING ERROR PLEASE WAIT FOR RETRY"
: An error occurred during reprogramming, the Hi-Scan Pro will retry the reprogramming automatically.
"ALREADY REPROGRAMMED"
or "INCORRECT TARGET ID"
