Well , Allow me to tell you my own experience about Nitrogen without talking much about the fact that Nitorgen will not be affected by heat as much as Air & this by it's own is of great importance to prevent tire explosion due to overheating.

The other benefit is that it minimizes your feeling of thumps & potholes & makes you feel as if you suspension is much softer than usual.

In my opinion and without any offense, I find it really beyond my mind spending 20 pounds to fill up the tires....when it's widely available in the air. I understand the use of nitrogen in extreme applications such as airplanes, f-1 team where 1/4 of 1% tire growth mean something

Also a good compressor have a condenser unit to extract water vapours from the air

In the end I am not against it but against the pricing of it, ya3nee I'd rather spend the 20 pounds on fuel or something of real benefit to me

The tires will still leak at a certain rate, and will need to be filled up regardless

Also the wear that the inside of an inflated tire takes due to oxygen corrosion is NOTHING compared to the wear experienced on the OUTSIDE of the tire by oxygen, water, , dirt, sun, pothholes, stupid speed bumps, cat's eye, etc
So I'm guessing that the chances of a tire failing due to exterior-based failure is WAY higher than that of inner-based failure
