Fiat Siena 1.6 temperature

Dear All,

My wife has Siena 1.6 the temperature always raises and we have to stop and let air out side the cooling cycle, and add water this happens on weekly basis so any one can help, cuz i went to Roxane service center and they first changer the water contaier cover then then the water juction, it didnt raise back again but just from your exoerince how this could be solved

changing the cover should help
when you use regular water it vaporizes and the steam could escape from any weak point at the circuit
the radiator cap is the first to blame when this happens

use coolant fluid ( i use 40% concentration green fluid ) it helped keeping the temp under control
or you can get the 20l.e. coolant can and add it to regular water

and just to be sure, let some specialist take a look at your car and make sure there`s no leaks anywhere

After changing the water cover, the temprature got hgh again and i went there and they told me about water junction need to be changed and i did change it, tell now now problem but im afraid to have this issue back again as according to them i dont have any more leackgde, anyway thanks ya man

if it`s not broke don`t fix it and don`t think abou it
and i told you earlier why do i think changing the cap will do

just use some coolant fluid and monitor the fluid level in either radiator or expansion tank - as fitted in you car
also make sure there`s no air in the colling circuit, could require a radiator technician or a mechanic or you could do it yourself if you`re good with your hands

I have already changed the water junction becuase the man showed me the water leacks out of it, but the coolant idea is a agood one anyway, i have did the air out process many tie with this car, by the wat do you know how much it worth in case my wife wanted to sell it, its 2000 model , 70,000 km all internals with factory condition it 1.6 without even single scratch

an advice, get the air locks out when car is extremely cold and engine off, i.e. in the morning
that my personal experience, you can get most of the air out when the car is cold
do as you do everytime, open the air lock valve, start adding fluid to your reservoir till the water coming out of the valve has steady pressure and no visible bubbles

as for the price, i have no idea, you could check ...sites , i reckon 40ish maybe more maybe less
or you could post a thread here asking about the price
