How does the GTE Fuel Saver work?

When untreated fuel molecules arrive to your engine clumped together, this results in unburned fuel, causing inefficiencies. Installing the GTE Fuel Saver

1. First locate your fuel supply line that feeds the engine from the fuel tank. Most vehicles will have two lines running next to each other. There will be a supply line and a return line. Carefully, while the engine is turned on, in PARK, touch the fuel line and find the colder one. The colder fuel line is your fuel supply line. If it's very cold outside, your going have to install the product in a warmer garage. Otherwise, you can do a visual check determine which is your supply line.
2. Position the two parts of the fuel saver on opposite ends onto your fuel line. Use the built in screws to tighten.

Because of the cleaning and removal process of carbon deposits in your cylinders, the fuel consumption may increase during the beginning cleaning cycle. Your vehicles mileage will stabilize after a short period. You will see noticeable improvements after 3 full gas tanks or about 1000 miles. It is highly recommended that you insure your air filter is clean. If possible adding fuel cleaners to your gas tank will make the cleaning of your engine go faster. Improved performance and a smoother running engine will usually be noticed.

Increase in gas mileage usually occurs after two to four gas thanks.

Why does it take a few gas tanks?

Before the Fuel Saver will improve your gas mileage, it must first clean your system. These deposits must be removed and can take longer on some vehicles than others.

Is it easy to install?

Yes, if you know how to find your fuel line. Most fuel lines can be found under your hood, near the fuel injectors.

Best place to install it?

You want to install the Fuel Saver as close as possible to your engines fuel injectors. The fuel line feeds the fuel pump which then goes to your fuel injectors.

Will it fit my Car/Truck or Hybrid or Air Cooled engines?

How long will the installation take?

If you find your fuel line, it should not take you more than a few minutes.

Do I need anything else?

No, but we do recommend changing your oil about 1500 miles after installing the fuel saver. The cleaning may have increased carbon deposits in your oil. However, after the first oil change your next oil change can be extended without any harm to your vehicle, up to 6000 mile oil changes.

This is a great point. However automobile manufactures try to skimp on any extra costs. Even $10 extra on every car could be millions of dollars for a manufacturer. Most car manufacturers until recently were not even interested in gas mileage. However, just recently we have begun working closely with some top vehicle manufactures...possibly installing our product on their vehicles from factory.
