im not sure if i get you right but ,i think you have to convert MAF into MAP Mass air flow is what you are after for tuning anyway.
It's possible to convert MAP<->MAF with a lot of measurements and math. You'll need to know the engine displacement, a complete VE map, RPM itself and IAT. From that you can calculate MAP or backward MAF from MAP
The other way is to measure injector duty cycle, RPM and AFR. From that you can determine mass fuel flow and with that determine mass air flow from AFR.
If what you're after is to eliminate a MAF sensor, then you need somehow a mappable system between that's mapped with VE. There's no straight linear relationship where you just plug RPM, MAP, IAT and other variables into a formula to get a MAF output. You NEED a VE table.
