Basha :), I dont comprehend the idea of judging a specific model by the brand name like Hyundai, just check the reviews first about the new I30 and you will know that it is DIFFERENT, even the old i30 model has a very high selling/reliability/quality records in the UK. and the new one is aimed to kill the ford focus/vw gold as per Hyundai CEO.
and it has a totally new CRDI engine and state of the art suspension system, even the handling system is new, called flex steering with three modes (comfort, normal and sport)
even the steel of the body is custom-designed to give it more strength and yet be lighter than the competitive models.
check the below clip it shows the VW CEO checking the new I30 and wondering 'how they did that while we cant do it' as per many translations referencing the clip, google it
BTW, i am not a Hyundai fan, I just dont like stereo-typing
